Perhaps the Nike Kyrie 8 Is Kyrie Irving's Last Signature Sneaker

Originally, this sneaker was believed to be the Nike Kyrie 9, but last year's model was renamed the Nike Kyrie Infinity after the NBA basketball player made negative comments about the sneaker. This means that the Nike Kyrie 8 will most likely be Kyrie Irving's last signature shoe with Nike Basketball.

The model has now been spotted on Kyrie's feet. This is the pair that was previously revealed by insiders. Special details include Elizabeth Ann Irving lettering on the tops of the Nike Kyrie 8 and the numbers 8 and 13 (August 13th), which are a reference to Kyrie's mother's birthday. Elsewhere, 11 and 23 (November 23rd) represent his daughter Azuire's birthday.

Nike has not yet confirmed the Kyrie 8, but the sneakers will reportedly drop on November 11th. More details can be found here in the future.

In May, it was reported that Nike would no longer renew Kyrie Irving's contract through the 2022-2023 season. This would mean that Kyrie Irving's next signature sneaker, the Nike Kyrie 9, was going to be the last model of the NBA basketball player. Nonetheless, we have now taken a look at the silhouette, which is expected to debut in November 2022.

One of the first colourways is this white and red Nike Kyrie 9. The kicks may be partly made of sustainable materials, as the front black insert and the outsole have small remnants that may come from a recycling process. Perhaps other components are also made of sustainable materials, but at this point, we don't have any more specific details.

Technical details are unfortunately also not yet known, but we can assume that the sneakers have Zoom Air Strobel cushioning. In the past, this technology has increasingly become the standard in cushioning. The rest of the upper, on the other hand, is made of lightweight, breathable materials.

No release info has been published yet, but insiders suspect the first Nike Kyrie 9 will drop on November 11th. We'll stay tuned and let you know as soon as the details are online.
