New Balance Releases a Limited 998 from Surplus Materials
This happens to be a really nice move from New Balance. When producing shoes or apparel, logically, there will be a leftover of surplus materials. But, shoe manufacturer New Balance does not want to simply throw away these surplus materials.
Instead, the brand launches a limited edition sneaker from those leftovers and recycles the materials again. In total, only five models have been created. The materials were used to make the corresponding sizes. Therefore, they weren’t able to have a complete size run.
It’s hard to believe but true. If you have already visited New Balance, you will be disappointed. This is because the sneakers are sold out. Only 100 pairs were dropped. Even the heaviest releases are not this "limited". Apart from that, the editions were not available online for very long. Some sneakerheads and fans may have already put the pairs up for immediate reselling.
New Balance Made in US 998 from Leftovers
Very few would have expected such a rush. Perhaps New Balance has set off a new avalanche this time.
We can only hope that soon, there will be more materials left and therefore more sneakers to follow.
