After several teasers and leaks, Nike finally gives us the first and official first look at the upcoming G-Dragon's PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 "Para-Noise".
"Since I discovered hip-hop as a kid, AF1 has been more important than just shoes," says G-DRAGON. "I couldn't afford them, so I always walked past the Nike store and just admired them with my eyes and my heart. For those who loved hip-hop culture, oversized clothing, hats and color-matching AF1 was the uniform."
Meanwhile, G-Dragon has become a world-renowned brand and even fulfilled its dream of making the Air Force 1 an integral part of its clothing line. This is why Nike's classic is also the main focus of this latest collab.
The low-cut Nike Air Force 1 comes with high-quality black leather and a special coating that eventually wears out over time and reveals another layer that features a personal work of art by G-Dragon, inspired by an optimistic look at art.
The artwork also includes contrasting white Swooshes, a printed insole, thicker laces, an embroidered daisy on the tongue, and a crossed-out PEACEMINUSONE along the lining.
