The Nike KD 3 "Aunt Pearl" is the latest addition to the popular collection that honors the life of Kevin Durant's late aunt. Every year since the release of his fourth signature sneaker, Nike has created a new variation of the "Aunt Pearl," which is one of the most detailed and sought-after colorways in Durant's entire Nike sneaker collection. Now, Nike has decided to expand the emotional collection and rehabilitate Kevin Durant's Zoom KD 3. The result is a beautiful sneaker combination of pink hues that keeps the memory of Durant's aunt alive in the NBA and in the sneaker world.
 
A pearlized sheen extends across the tongue tabs and upper overlays, creating more motifs for his beloved late aunt. The ballistic knit midfoot fabric and mesh tongue are color-coordinated with the soft pastel, while a more striking set of "Lotus Pink" complements the laces and collar linings. Pale white swooshes and semi-transparent outsoles add an extra layer of neutrality to the cotton candy-dipped footwear. Elsewhere, Aunt Pearl's name appears in delicate handwriting on the medial side of the tongue, while Kay Yow Cancer Fund heel caps honor the collection's commitment to funding cancer research. Nike has yet to confirm the pair, but reportedly the sneakers will drop later this year.
