A Shoe Box As Inspiration for a Collaboration

This summer, adidas announced the return of the coveted adidas Adimatic. The silhouette was first released in 1996 and was a cult sneaker among youth around the world. A collaboration with the HUMAN MADE label was then confirmed to release three new colourways.
Now, adidas returns, this time with another heavyweight as a partner — atmos.
This time, the two collaboration partners have chosen adidas' classic brown shoe box as their theme. Like the box itself, the exterior of the shoe is wrapped in brown suede. Black stripes have been added to the side and heel respectively. The midsole is kept in a clean white, while the outsole is a matching gum sole.
A photo of the shoe box itself can be found as a homage in the insole of the shoe.

The shoe will be sold at atmos for the first time on September 17th. A release at adidas is still pending. We will of course keep you up to date.
