Fans of adidas are in for a treat, as Herzogenaurach has revived the adidas Originals category in 2020 and 2021. Numerous ZX versions, Forum Hi's and Lows, and other retro-inspired silhouettes are currently dominating the news, and now, this adidas Top Ten Hi, sprung from the '70s, is making an appearance.

It's a very special iteration from adidas, as the sneaker was designed in collaboration with broadcaster ESPN. The collaboration may seem unfamiliar, but the sneaker and the channel share several similarities. The channel has been airing episodes of SportsCenter Top Ten since April 1st, 2012, and after 18 seasons, they have found their way into the sneaker game. Moreover, the silhouette and the channel share the same debut year in 1979.

Shimmering gold appliqués adorn the midfoot with a toggle lacing system, while the upper of the ESPN x adidas Top Ten Hi "SportsCenter" is predominantly in "Chalk White". Other details include the colours and logo borrowed from the SportsCenter, which are used on the high collar and sides. Co-branding then comes in the form of tongue labels, as well as a special shoe box and semi-transparent outsoles with a slight green tint hinting at a glow-in-the-dark effect.

Don't Miss the Release of the ESPN x adidas Top Ten Hi "SportsCenter"

Official images of the ESPN x adidas Top Ten Hi "SportsCenter" have now been shared, but no release date exists yet. However, we suspect a drop before the end of 2021.
