ASICS Drops a GEL-LYTE III from Leftovers
In recent years, sustainable sneakers have taken on a high profile. Sporting goods manufacturers are using recycled materials or leftover scraps to create a new sneaker. ASICS has mostly kept a low profile in this matter, but now this sporting goods manufacturer is also catching up. The Japanese label has made this GEL-LYTE III from leftovers.
The reuse of waste and the minimized use of chemicals and dyes reduce ASICS' own carbon footprint. You might be imagining a visually crazy sneaker now, but this sustainable sneaker looks totally good, and it shows us how best to use recycled materials.
Buttery soft suede and fine leather on the upper make up the ASICS GEL-LYTE III, with the green base perfectly matching the purple on the overlays. In between, yellow edging and a two-tone sole complete the design of the sustainable ASICS GEL-LYTE III.

We really like the colourway of the new ASICS GEL-LYTE III. Unfortunately, the sneaker is not yet available in our region, but they are supposedly dropping soon on asics.com.
