Just yesterday, we have seen how the Nike SB x Jordan Brand collection has grown with the sighting of the Air Jordan 1 Low SB “Dark Powder Blue”, on renowned skateboarder Eric Koston himself!

This new sneaker taps the iconic colours of Koston’s time while also commemorating those years he’s missed out on the said silhouette. Koston has designed for himself a tribute to the outlet racks of ’86—a time when many colourways were spotted on the racks with cut-off box lids, evoking a strong connection to the pairs inspired by the UNC theme with their iconic bright hues and cool tones on every overlay.

The shoe comes with a white leather base with elements that are consistent to the design’s main appeal: a low-cut style with slight modifications that give the overall look a contemporary feel. It has longer vamps that give it a very unique shape compared to what is already out in the market. The Swooshes have been resized and Koston’s signature can be seen under the tongue with a “$24.99” under the tag, as a nod to the original price with which it was launched in ’86.

What can you say about this sudden wave of ‘80s nostalgia? Grab your own pair for your personal collection.
