Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo has returned to Instagram and confirmed the new Nike Air Fear of God Raid. In his post, he shows us the latest model and tells us about his plans with Nike as well as the release of an exclusive Friends & Family version that will drop this summer.
"Yes, the Friends & Family Air Raid will be released sometime this summer. Of all the sneakers I've designed, this is by far my favourite."
The shape and design of the Nike Air Fear of God Raid originally comes from the Nike Air Raid that was released in 1992—a silhouette that was designed by Tinker Hatfield himself and is still very much known today.
"I feel like we have modernized this shoe perfectly. Unlike the general releases with Bone and Black, we hid the laces under the straps to get a clean toe box," says Jerry. "My favourite all-time sneaker."
So far Lorenzo has not yet picked a release date. But the sneaker will be launched as a general release. We will stay tuned and inform you as soon as new information is out.
