First Look: Nike Dunk High 1985 "Acid Wash"

The week continues to be very strong. On August 20th, two great sneakers from Nike will debut via the SNKRS app and at selected retailers for 130€ each. We are talking about the Nike Dunk High 1985 "Red Acid Wash" and "Black Acid Wash". All the details can be found in our Grailify app.

Official images of the Nike Dunk High 1985 "Acid Wash" with the 1980s inspired packaging have now been revealed. No release date has been given yet, but we're sure the sneakers will be arriving at Nike and selected retailers soon.

Good news, friends! After only a few days after the first leak, teddyssole gives us a much better look at the awesome Nike Dunk High "Red Camo" now. Although there is still no sign of a release date or official Nike pictures, we will, of course, keep you up to date!

The label with the Swoosh has set itself a clear goal this year: to provide the sneaker community with numerous Dunk colourways. Already at the beginning of the year, the amount of releases increaed drastically, so we can now look forward to a new design almost every week. So far, Nike has primarily focused on classic colour-blocking in the already familiar "Be True To Your School" colours, but now, camo patterns seem to have become increasingly in focus.

The Nike Dunk High "Red Camo" has been equipped with a clean grey leather base on which the eponymous red and black camouflage overlays have been placed. The laces, Swoosh, lining, and outsole are also wrapped in a rich red that completes the crazy upper. In addition, the midsole has been dyed yellow in typical vintage fashion for a classic, old-school look. Accordingly, you won't have to worry about a yellowed sole in the future.😉

When camouflage is used on sneakers, it always ends up having the opposite effect of the original "camouflage" colours. The "Red Camo" in particular, with its striking mix of red and black, catches the eye. This kind of colourway is certainly not for everyone, but it definitely offers a nice change from the previous colour-blocking.

At this point, unfortunately, we only have one leaked image that provides a first look at the new release. Apart from that, there is no other information or confirmation from Nike. Nevertheless, a release is expected as early as 2021. We will keep you up to date in any case!
