Nike Dunk High Black Acid Wash

Nike is going for nostalgia at the moment. Previously, the brand released a big "First Use" pack with great Nike Dunk styles alluding to the early days of the logo, and now, the Beaverton-based brand is taking a walk down memory lane with this Nike Dunk 1985.

UNDERCOVER first had the opportunity to bring us the sneaker, and now, a trifecta expands the series with a modern "Acid Wash" pack. Check out the official images and release details here.

It's not just the splotchy design that appears new here and spans the entire model, but also the shape raises some question marks. In fact, perhaps only hardcore sneakerheads would recognise the sneaker, as it's a return to the shape of Peter Moore's iconic basketball silhouette.

At first glance, you might not immediately recognise the old/new details that have been modified by Nike Sportswear. But if you have today's model standing next to it, you'll notice a different collar and a modified heel that looks much more bulbous. Added to that are the yellowed leather, along with the black and grey patches for a modern look. Furthermore, yellow midsoles reinforce the whole retro design.
