Last October, a first taste of a new The Simpsons x adidas collaboration was released, revealing that the Three Stripes would celebrate Homer Simpson and his iconic bush moment. The leaked images of his Stan Smith went viral, as the instantly recognisable design is now equated with response GIFs and memes. Now there's an official look at the pair, showing Homer in all his heel glory, with his portrait on the tongue and the text "HOMER SIMPSON" in gold on the side midfoot. The sneakers have not been spotted here yet, but adidas is reportedly dropping the pair on 18 August.

adidas' catalogue has been expanding in recent months with unique The Simpsons-themed sneakers. Most recently, the brand confirmed a blue adidas Superstar inspired by Marge Simpson and her hairstyle. Following the announcement, it was therefore only a matter of time before Homer Simpson also appeared on an adidas sneaker.

As a result, the Marge Simpson sneaker led to the idea of pairing the Stan Smith with the legendary Homer Simpson meme going into the bushes. First images of it have now surfaced, which we will, of course, show you here.

The presentation of The Simpsons x adidas Stan Smith "Homer Simpson" is very simple and yet funny. Indeed, the entire construction reminds us of a simple adidas Stan Smith, with gold Homer Simpson embossing, co-brandings on the tongues, and cream soles. This is followed by the timeless GIF and meme of Homer Simpson slowly walking backwards into the bushes.
