Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer - A Hybrid of the Flyknit Racer and the Air Max Pre-Day

The guys from the Nike lab have been busy again, as the team has been working on a new hybrid, which has now been revealed. The Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer is a hybrid of the 2012 Flyknit Racer and the current Air Max Pre-Day. It also comes in a popular Oreo colourway to start. Take a look at the official images here.

Both silhouettes used are instantly recognisable. The upper of the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer is reminiscent of the coveted sneaker that was released 10 years ago. However, a closer look reveals matte leather applications on the eyelets and heels, as well as printed pinwheel logos on the insoles, which speaks for the use of recycled materials.

At the very bottom, Nike then focuses on the tech-laden sole of the latest Nike Air Max Pre-Day. The heels are raised, and the outsoles are made of grind rubber. Additionally, the sporting goods manufacturer has kept the soles in the same colours to get a colour match.

The Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer looks very sporty, and the lightweight, breathable upper is perfect for the warm summer days. No release date exists yet, but you'll find out here when Nike gives the details.
