Nike SB Dunks in 2021: Why the New Year Could Be Better Than 2020

Since its debut in 1985, the Nike Dunk has taken on countless shapes and colours. Most recently, Ambush's Yoon Ahn released a wild AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High that lost the strings on its heels. Other iterations pay homage to basketball teams, offer up their silhouette for a new piece of art, or give rock bands a chance to express themselves.

But have we already seen the Nike Dunk from all angles and could the hyped sneaker lose value in the new year? The answer is clearly no! You can expect the Beaverton-based brand to continue creating new colourways and releasing them to the public in 2021, and in the coming days and weeks.

These next colourways are off to a rather quiet start. In January, three new Nike Dunks will be released in the colours "Black/White", "Red/Grey”, and "Sail/Coast". The "Black/White" drops in men's sizes, the "Red/Grey" in men's and kids' sizes, and the "Sail/Coast" exclusively in women's sizes.

Other pairs get a simple colourway in "Black/Hyper Cobalt", "Sail/Orange”, and "White/Orange", with the "Black/Hyper Cobalt" dropping in men's and kids' sizes and the "Sail/Orange" and "White/Orange" dropping in women’s and kids' sizes.

The release dates for the colourways are currently the following:

"Red/Grey" - January 14th

"Sail/Coast" - January 14th

"Black/White" - January 21st

"Black/Hyper Cobalt" - February 11th

"Sail/Orange" - March 5th

"White/Orange" - March 5th

Expect the new Nike Dunks to be released via the Nike app as well as via SNKRS.
