PUMA and Borussia Dortmund Extend Their Partnership until 2028
Borussia Dortmund is probably one of the best-known football clubs that currently exist. Their unique moves and passionate fans are known all over the world. At present, PUMA is Borussia Dortmund's equipment partner and has supported the club since 2012/2013.
"Borussia Dortmund is one of our most important partners," said Bjørn Gulden, CEO of PUMA, "We love the fans of this club and the atmosphere they create at Signal Iduna Park. It is probably the best stadium atmosphere in the world."
Carsten Cramer, Managing Director of Borussia Dortmund says this about their philosophy: "Borussia Dortmund and PUMA share the same philosophy of intense football and an emotional fan experience. PUMA is one of the most creative and dynamic sports brands in the world, yet has retained a familiar feel. We are proud that two companies with such a positive energy will continue to meet in the future."
For Borussia Dortmund and PUMA's partnership, 250 million euros is expected to be generated by 2028.
PUMA continues to supply BVB 09 with fanwear products and replicas. According to media reports, the partnership will generate the said amount for BVB. In addition, there are special contracts with BVB stars Marco Reus, Julian Weigl, Axel Witsel, Lukasz Piszczek and Marwin Hitz.
