Raheem Sterling and Nike Support the Next Generation—Just Do It

Nike has just released its latest film for the "Just Do It" campaign. There, Nike tells the inspiring story of the legendary Manchester City player Raheem Sterling. The midfielder is a supportive force for players and the next generation of athletes in England and beyond.

Raheem Sterling plays as a winger and is just 25 years old. He has been playing as a professional footballer for 7 years. This was also his great dream when he was just a child in the London Borough of Brent.

He has played more than 50 games for England and won two Premier League titles. For Nike, this is reason enough to look at his inspiring role for the next generation. With his strong willpower, Raheem Sterling is able to influence thousands of people in Brent.

Together with Nike, Sterling becomes an even bigger driving force. His voice will reach young people in the community and better support the initiatives in Brent. The partners plan to work with the Brent Schools' Football Association to build a local team to set up coaching schools without coaches and support the London Youth Games for at least three years.

"Brent means everything to me—growing up there, having friends from different backgrounds, learning about different cultures and taking that with you," says Sterling. "It's always been my dream to play in the Premier League, to play for England and myself. I always wanted to give something back to the community where I grew up and give them an opportunity. This partnership with the Nike and Brent Schools Football Association is an opportunity for me to offer guidance and the right help so that many children can have the same dream as me."
