With the Burnden II SPZL, adidas is bringing back an update of a somewhat underrated model and giving it a few targeted improvements. The silhouette remains true to its clean, classic look, but now appears significantly more refined thanks to small design tweaks.

The upper is crafted from high-quality leather in an almost entirely white colourway (‘Cloud White’), giving the trainer a particularly minimalist and versatile look. Compared to its predecessor, the design has been revised: instead of a T-toe, adidas has now opted for a wraparound overlay in the toe box area, which blends more harmoniously into the overall shape.

Details such as the redesigned eyestay construction and precisely placed perforations also demonstrate just how much fine-tuning has gone into this model. The branding on the tongue has also been updated and looks more modern without losing the heritage vibe.

The classic rubber sole provides the necessary contrast, adding a touch of depth to the otherwise clean upper whilst ensuring reliable grip for everyday wear. Overall, the Burnden II SPZL is a perfect example of how adidas SPZL evolves old designs without losing their character.
