TLDR: The adidas Climacool Laced “Wonder Taupe” combines futuristic 3D-printed technology with a clean, monochrome look. Ultra-lightweight, breathable and modern – releasing on 2 April for €160. With the adidas Climacool Laced “Wonder Taupe”, adidas is taking its 3D-printed sneaker vision a step further. The focus is clearly on innovation, combined with a minimalist design that puts the technology front and centre.
The highlight is the fully 3D-printed construction. The trainer consists of a one-piece lattice structure that ensures maximum breathability and 360-degree airflow. At the same time, the material offers integrated support in the midfoot and comfortable cushioning in the heel area.
Unlike the slip-on version, the “Laced” variant features classic laces and a tongue. This provides better support and makes the futuristic shoe a little more suitable for everyday wear.
The colour scheme remains clean: “Wonder Taupe” features a soft, almost rosé-coloured tone that perfectly showcases the complex design. Without stark contrasts, the trainer looks particularly modern and almost sculptural.
The Climacool shows where trainers can go – away from classic materials, towards completely new manufacturing processes. If you’re into innovation and futuristic style, this is definitely an exciting release. As always, it’s worth checking out Grailify for more info 😉
