TLDR: The adidas Futurecool “Off-White” combines an airy 3D-printed lattice with the familiar construction of a conventional trainer. The first raffle for 400 individually numbered pairs opened on August 28th, 2026, at a price of 180€; the wider global release will follow on April 1st, 2027.
The Futurecool develops adidas’ experimental Climacool platform further. While previous versions appeared more like futuristic concepts, the new silhouette combines additive manufacturing with laces, an asymmetrical tongue and a more conventional sole shape.
Its almost continuous lattice structure is produced using an advanced 3D-printing process. Areas with different densities are designed to combine ventilation, support and cushioning within one connected form. The lightweight material also adapts naturally to the foot, creating a close, second-skin fit.
The “Off-White” colourway places the trainer’s complex architecture firmly in the foreground. Three Stripes are integrated directly into the side structure, while black rubber elements around the outsole provide contrast, protection and additional grip. The open construction also enables airflow from almost every direction.
Only 400 individually numbered pairs are being produced for the first release. This limited edition acts as a preview of the considerably wider launch planned for spring 2027, making the debut one of the most exclusive chapters in the Climacool range.
