With the Punstock SPZL, adidas is bringing back a true fan favourite that originally launched in 2018. The silhouette is based on classic adidas casual models, but was already interpreted as a modern hybrid back then – and that’s exactly where the new version picks up.

The biggest difference from the OG version lies in the material: instead of leather, adidas has opted this time for high-quality suede in a lighter ‘Blanch Cargo’ colourway. This gives the trainer a softer, slightly more modern look without losing the typical SPZL DNA. At the same time, the minimalist, almost elegant style is retained.

Small details have also been tweaked. The branding on the tongue is now embossed rather than applied as a patch, giving the shoe a cleaner finish. Overall, the update feels well thought-out without distorting the character of the original.

Comfort remains a key focus: the soft lining and classic rubber sole make the Punstock SPZL a reliable everyday trainer that can be easily incorporated into various outfits – from casual to slightly smarter.
