TLDR: The Air Jordan 8 ‘Bugs Bunny’ is coming back on 20 December 2025 – just in time for the end of Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary. The OG colourway from 1993 will be available in full family sizing and will cost €210. As always, more info is available at Grailify. The legendary Air Jordan 8 ‘Bugs Bunny’ is making a comeback in 2025 – after a hiatus of more than ten years. Named after the iconic Looney Tunes character, this colourway became world-famous thanks to the legendary ‘Hare Jordan’ advertising campaign and the film Space Jam. The new edition remains true to the 1993 original and captures the spirit of the times with its combination of nostalgic design, modernised materials and improved comfort.
Visually, the sneaker features a white leather upper with classic accents in black and true red, in the style of the Chicago Bulls. Typical of the AJ8 are the crossed Velcro fasteners on the midfoot, the perforated overlays and the characteristic fluffy chenille patch on the tongue. Of course, the graphically designed heel section with its colourful pattern is also a must. The retro version also features a slightly aged midsole finish that gives the look an authentic vintage vibe.
With the return of the ‘Bugs Bunny’, Jordan Brand is wrapping up a strong year for the often underrated AJ8 – following already confirmed releases such as the “Aqua” and the upcoming ‘Chrome’. The year 2026 also promises to be exciting, as there are already leaks about models such as the ‘Bin 23’ and ‘Cavs’.
