TLDR: From 1 April 2025, the creative crew at Brain Dead is teaming up with adidas to bring back four wild colourways of the classic Forest Hills - all in hairy suede, with eye-catching accents and co-branded details. Originally released in 1976, the tennis shoe is reinterpreted by Brain Dead with fresh energy and vintage vibes. The price per pair is €140. All further release info as always at Grailify. The adidas Forest Hills is one of the most underrated silhouettes in the adidas archive. As the lightest tennis shoe of its time, it was introduced in 1976 - named after the famous New York neighbourhood where the US Open stadium once stood. Almost 50 years later, Brain Dead brings the model back in a powerful collaboration that combines nostalgia with progressive design.
The new collection includes four eye-catching colourways, all in fluffy suede - a style strongly reminiscent of previous Brain Dead x Oakley Factory Team projects.
In addition to the eye-catching materials, details such as the golden ‘Brain Dead’ branding, co-logos on the tongue, heel and insole as well as individual colour blocking elements bring the retro sneaker into the here and now.
When will the Brain Dead x adidas Forest Hills be released?
The complete Brain Dead x adidas Forest Hills collection will be released on 1 April 2025. Although the 25 April was originally under discussion, the earlier release date has now been confirmed.
Where can I buy the Brain Dead x adidas Forest Hills?
All four colourways are available via the Confirmed App, at Brain Dead online and in the Brain Dead Stores as well as at selected adidas retailers, whereby only the Brain Dead x adidas Forest Hills ‘Branch’ is currently confirmed for DE.
