With the ‘Montage,’ Concepts and New Balance celebrate the return of one of their most popular models and the unconventional energy of the 1990s. Inspired by the grunge style of that era, the reinterpreted 997 focuses on creative imperfection: a pre-aged midsole, deliberately exposed foam lining on the tongue and marker-like details on the toe box bring a DIY look to the streets. At the same time, high-quality materials such as grey suede, perforated mesh and black premium leather trim ensure the necessary everyday wearability.

The colour accents are particularly striking: bright yellow adorns the forefoot area, while the heel features a pink stabiliser. A semi-transparent ‘N’ lettering on the sides gives the sneaker a modern touch. The classic CNCPTS branding appears on the heel cap and insole, while the ‘997’ logo continues to feature prominently on the tongue and midsole.

The name ‘Montage’ fits perfectly with the overall concept. Like a collage, this 997 combines a wide variety of elements to create an overall look that is both nostalgic and progressive.
