The Nike Air Max 1 is an absolute icon in the sneaker game and has received increased attention in recent months. The multi-part collaboration with Patta has especially rekindled the community's love for the classic. After the extensive collaboration with the Dutch label, Nike has now brought Concepts on board and with their three-part collab, with both partners not giving the community a chance to lose interest in the Air Max 1 in any way.

Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Mellow Release Info

All models from the three-part collaboration draw on a colourful aesthetic with several different patterns and shapes. The "Mellow" uses a corduroy base that features a washed-out blue with a tie-dye look. The middle overlay, which runs around the entire sneaker, is almost the most neutral element with a simple khaki.

The laces, tongue, and lining are a dark burgundy, while the speckled midsole is a sail colour, and a black outsole frames the silhouette perfectly. The heel presents a rich black and is adorned with many small white Swooshes and plant-like prints. Directly above it is a purple "Concepts" lettering that alludes to the collab and squeezes out of a fictitious zip.

The outer Swoosh visualises three different colours with burgundy, black, and green, while the inner Swoosh features colourful flowers on a black background. To add even more craziness to the design, the connecting overlays on the laces are wrapped in a black-and-white spotted pattern. The top hole of the laces, however, stands out even further with a rich purple.

The toe tag features an orange Swoosh and colourful "Concepts" branding, while the insoles are also asymmetrically branded with abstract shapes. All the aforementioned design elements of the shoe are then combined on a black shoe box, by the way.
