Following the acclaimed Air Max SNDR project, the label has now turned its attention to the legendary Nike Total 90 III, transforming it into a modern mule for summer 2026.
The basis is the iconic T90 football boot from 2004, which stood out at the time for its aggressive Y2K aesthetic and futuristic football DNA. Rather than simply bringing the silhouette back as a retro, Kids of Immigrants has completely reinterpreted the boot, combining football elements with lifestyle, ACG and mule designs.
The most striking feature is the asymmetrical fold-over kiltie on the upper. The removable tongue is reminiscent of classic football boots, yet at the same time looks almost like a handcrafted fashion detail. Beneath the removable tongue, the familiar asymmetrical T90 lacing remains visible.
The two colourways take different approaches. The ‘Khaki’ version features earthy suede and nubuck tones in khaki, olive and violet with a speckled midsole. The ‘Velvet Brown’ colourway combines dark brown suede with glossy black patent leather, giving it a significantly more elegant and futuristic look.
Additional highlights include cork insoles for a sockless summer vibe, rugged trail elements on the outsole, and red Swooshes with a yellow outline as a tribute to the model’s football heritage.
