The new adidas Jabbar Hi is a stylish tribute to two legends: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, whose skyhook remains unforgettable, and Mark Gonzales, who has been shaping the scene with his creative skateboard artwork since the 1980s. The silhouette originally dates back to 1971 and was Jabbar's first signature shoe. Now it's back – with an artistic twist.

The upper is made of high-quality chalk white leather, combined with rough shadow red suede on the 3-stripes and heel cap. The yellowed sole and cream-coloured laces give the shoe an authentic vintage look. The highlight is the artwork by Mark Gonzales: his legendary Ghost character adorns the tongue, heel area and insole – where it even features Kareem's iconic goggles. A charming crossover between basketball nostalgia and skate art.

The sneaker will be available on 8 December 2025 on adidas.com, in the CONFIRMED app and in selected stores. The price is €110.
