TLDR: The Mowalola x Air Jordan 14 Retro SP combines the Ferrari-inspired basketball silhouette with Mowalola Ogunlesi’s provocative design language. A distressed Burnt Red finish, dotted Mowalola lettering and metallic gold accents define the trainer, which is expected to arrive on 18 September 2026 for 255€.
For her first collaboration with Jordan Brand, Nigerian-British designer Mowalola Ogunlesi has taken on the Air Jordan 14. The project was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week as part of a wider collection that includes apparel and the first backless mule interpretation of the classic basketball model.
The standard Air Jordan 14 receives a rough, deliberately aged upper in dark Burnt Red. Its uneven treatment gives the trainer an already worn and almost scorched appearance. Black sections and Metallic Gold accents complement the aggressive lines of the sports car-inspired silhouette.
The oversized Mowalola lettering across the side panels provides the defining detail. Formed by rows of dotted stitching integrated directly into the upper, it replaces the typically restrained styling of the Air Jordan 14 with something considerably more expressive. The model’s distinctive fang-like sole unit remains intact, ensuring that the original basketball design is still recognisable beneath Mowalola’s transformation.
