With the 2002R, New Balance is bringing back a technical running classic that has its roots in 2010 but feels anything but retro. The silhouette remains sporty and functional, but modern materials and lines give it a timeless, almost futuristic look.

The upper is made of breathable mesh combined with high-quality suede overlays. The ‘Sea Salt’ look creates an extremely clean colourway that goes well with both sporty fits and minimalist streetwear looks. Subtle curves, cut-outs and layering make the shoe exciting without being too loud.

The 2002R also delivers on the technical front: the ABZORB midsole effectively cushions impacts, while additional ABZORB SBS heel cushioning provides stability in the heel area. Added to this are a Stability Web outsole for better support in the midfoot and an N-ergy outsole that reliably absorbs shocks. Weighing around 350 grams, the trainer remains pleasantly light and absolutely suitable for everyday use.
