Nike Adapt Auto Max Motherboard

The legacy of the Air Max line is going to be tremendous. This year, the Beaverton-based brand has released many Air Max sneakers. Those several surprises are due to the Air Max 90, which turned 30 this year. But not only are old classics appearing with a new colour scheme, but new and futuristic silhouettes belonging to the Air Max family are also coming into the limelight.

The Adapt Auto Max is Nike’s newest Adapt sneaker and belongs in part to the category of “Self-Lacing Sneakers” and to the Air Max range.

In the USA, sneakerheads have already received the release. Nike released the silhouette via a surprise drop for Air Max Day. A few weeks later, we can finally enjoy it as well.

The sneakers combine characteristic Air Max 90 details with futuristic lines that are coinciding with today’s fashion. We recognize the original design at the bottom of the sneakers with the cassette that Tinker Hatfield created. A gum sole and a light grey tone on the upper result in an interesting contrast. Overall the Motherboard colourway remains pretty minimalistic.
