TLDR: After more than a decade, Nike brings back the iconic Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’. The new edition stays true to the original from 2012 - including the breathtaking Galaxy print and the legendary ‘Remove Before Flight’ hang tag. The model will be available from Nike SNKRS and selected retailers on 21 February 2025 at a price of €230. For the first time since its legendary release in 2012, the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ is celebrating a comeback - while remaining true to its original design. Back then, the shoe was released as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend and became one of the most coveted sneaker releases of all time.
The 2025 version sticks closely to the OG design: the iconic Galaxy print dominates the Foamposite upper, while black accents on the laces, collar and tongue provide contrast. Penny Hardaway's 1 cent logo is placed on the tongue, heel and outsole, while the typical carbon midfoot plate gives the shoe its performance DNA.
Another highlight remains the iconic ‘Remove Before Flight’ hang tag, which already made the first version special. In addition, a glow-in-the-dark outsole adds a futuristic touch.
