TLDR: The Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Pearl’ is back and looks exactly like the 1997 model: With a shiny pearl upper, black details and a blue outsole, the cult sneaker will go on sale on 5 December 2025 for £230. A must-have for sneakerheads and basketball fans. The ‘Pearl’ is one of the most famous colourways in the Foamposite series. It became famous mainly through Ray Allen in Spike Lee's film ‘He Got Game’. In his role as Jesus Shuttlesworth, Allen turned the eye-catching basketball shoe into a pop culture statement.
The new 2025 version looks almost identical to the original: the pearlescent Foamposite upper is complemented by black Swooshes, black laces and red accents on the pull tabs. The semi-transparent outsole rounds off the retro design and adds a fresh touch.
Although there have been a few re-releases in recent years, this drop is the first since 2015 to be heavily based on the OG version.
