The Air Max 180 is one of the greats of the early 90s and celebrated its comeback just last year - including OG colourways and revised ‘Big Bubble’ technology. Now Nike is launching one of the most exciting new versions on the market: ‘Light Khaki’.
The upper comes with a mesh underside in soft Ocean Blue, which transitions into grey via a slight gradient - a subtle homage to the visual play of the early Air Max era. Khaki-coloured suede covers the overlays and brings warm earth tones into play. Black Swooshes and accents round off the design, while the sockliner and heel areas are in light khaki. The midsole is slightly aged and blends in perfectly with the retro finish.
Technically, everything remains classic: the eponymous 180-degree Air Unit continues to provide soft cushioning in the heel area and brings the performance past back into everyday life.
