TLDR: The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble ‘Lawson’ is set to be released on 25 July 2026 for €190. The blue and white colourway is part of the project originally planned as the ‘Kombini Pack’ and is unofficially inspired by the Japanese convenience store chain Lawson. Following legal issues surrounding the also-planned ‘7-Eleven’ colourway, at least the blue version is set to be released as scheduled. The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble ‘Lawson’ brings the look of Japanese convenience stores to the classic running silhouette. The trainer was originally part of a two-piece ‘Kombini Pack’, whose colourways were intended to evoke Lawson and 7-Eleven.
The “Lawson” version primarily draws on the striking blue of the Japanese retail chain. Grey suede covers the toe area and the tongue, whilst various shades of blue run across the wavy side panels of the Air Max 95. Red accents shimmer through the layers, complementing the colourway without the use of official Lawson logos.
Blue and white rope laces round off the look. Added to this are metallic silver details and the visible Big Bubble Air cushioning. Overall, the design remains clearly inspired by the Lawson colour scheme, but appears more understated than a classic brand collaboration.
It was the second colourway in the pack that attracted the most attention. After 7-Eleven took legal action against Nike, planned releases and raffles for the green, orange and red version were apparently halted. Nike has also since avoided any direct references to convenience stores or Lawson in the official product description of the blue Air Max 95.
