Almost ten years after its last release, Nike is relaunching the Air Trainer Huarache OG ‘Cool Blue’ in its original 90s look. Following the hype surrounding the Corteiz collaboration in 2024, the model is now returning as a standalone release and is sure to delight both retro fans and newcomers alike.

The sneaker remains true to the original: The upper combines neoprene-padded inner shoes, black nubuck leather panels, white leather inserts and striking ‘Cool Blue’ accents on the toe cap, heel reinforcement, tongue and insole. The highlight is and remains the distinctive midfoot strap with Nike branding, which ensures optimal support and style – then as now.

Originally designed by Tinker Hatfield as part of the Huarache family, the Air Trainer Huarache was already considered a sporty all-rounder in the 90s – and this multisport character remains unchanged in 2025. With the OG material selection and silhouette, the new release remains visually and technically very close to the 2015 retro and the 1992 original.
