Nike Air Vapormax Evo Wolf Grey Release News

Nike's Vapormax technology is still at the forefront of the Air range, dedicating the entire midsole to suspended airbags. Now, the Swoosh goes one step further, combining decades of Air sneakers with the signature Vapormax sole to create the new Vapormax EVO — a wild design that pulls overlays, colours, and other elements from years of Air sneakers.

The first colourways are apparently leaning towards more darker editions, as the sneakers come with a sombre overhaul. But Nike has already announced that lighter colourways are on their way. We take a look at the first releases now, though.

Nike Air Vapormax Evo Wolf Grey Release Info

The upper of the Nike Air Max 96 II forgoes the vibrant accents in favour of a greyscale makeover and subtle black hits. Breathable inserts have a "Wolf Grey" look, while the other lightweight textiles are layered in "White", "Anthracite”, and "Dark Grey".

Further down, Nike's experimental sneaker features a rugged sole reminiscent of the Air Max Plus line, while forward-thinking cushioning takes on a smoky aesthetic.
