With the Nike Alphafly 3 ‘Laser Orange’, Nike is taking its high-performance model for road competitions to the next level. The shoe is aimed specifically at ambitious runners who want to tackle half marathon and marathon distances.
The brand new Atomknit upper provides an optimised combination of breathability and stable support. At the same time, the soft yarn offers a comfortable, sock-like fit. The midsole continues to feature ultra-light ZoomX foam, which is now fully integrated with the outsole for the first time. This ensures a particularly smooth roll and improved responsiveness over the entire distance.
For maximum propulsion, Nike has integrated a wider carbon flyplate, which provides additional stability, and two Air Zoom elements in the forefoot, which store energy and return it explosively. A new outsole material offers multidirectional traction with reduced weight. Weighing around 218 g (size 44) and with an 8 mm drop, the Alphafly 3 is one of the most uncompromising competition shoes in the Nike portfolio.
