With his 23rd signature shoe, LeBron James dedicates a very special chapter of his career to a moment that made basketball history: his joint NBA debut with his son Bronny on 22 October 2024.
The ‘The Chosen One and The One Who Chose’ edition tells this story through a deliberately mismatched design: the right shoe is in elegant metallic gold for LeBron – the ‘Chosen One’ – while the left shoe is in bold vivid purple for Bronny, ‘The One Who Chose’. The right shoe is in elegant metallic gold for LeBron, the ‘Chosen One’, while the left shoe is in vibrant vivid purple for Bronny, ‘The One Who Chose’. Both colours also reflect the team colours of the Los Angeles Lakers, where father and son played together for the first time.

The textured black upper is interspersed with shiny accents. The characteristic Crown Containment System construction extends into the side panels, allowing the ‘crown’ motifs of both shoes to interlock – a symbol of the bond between the two generations. The heels feature the lettering ‘Chosen 1’ and ‘1 Who Chose’, emphasising the individual identities of LeBron and Bronny.
