On Cloudboom Strike LS "White/Black"

With the Cloudboom Strike LS, On is launching one of the most technically radical silhouettes of recent years. The focus is clearly on race performance: maximum cushioning, extremely lightweight and uncompromisingly designed for propulsion. The shoe weighs just 170 grams – and that's with an aggressive 4 mm drop for a direct, fast running feel.

The highlight is the new LightSpray™ upper. A robot processes a single 1.5 km long fibre into a wafer-thin, sock-like upper. No seams, no adhesives, no laces. Weighing only around 30 grams, it is the lightest On upper ever and ensures a seamless, snug fit. At the same time, production significantly reduces waste and CO2 emissions.

A high-performance setup works underfoot: two layers of Helion™ HF Hyperfoam – with over 40% bio-attributed content – deliver explosive energy return. In between is a spoon-shaped carbon fibre Speedboard® that absorbs energy and powerfully transfers it forward. CloudTec® elements support a fast, smooth roll, while the redesigned outsole provides more traction at key contact points.
