TLDR: The Pan Records x Nike Air Max 180 ‘Black/Anthracite’ will be released on 12 April 2025 for €150. The Berlin label brings a breath of fresh air to the Air Max range with a Swoosh-less aesthetic, rippled textures and mythological details. All info as always at Grailify! Nike takes the Air Max 180 2025 to a new level with a collaboration with Berlin-based art and music label Pan Records. Known for its experimental sound aesthetics, the label is now transferring its avant-garde vision to one of the most iconic Air Max silhouettes of the 90s.
The ‘Black/Anthracite’ colourway comes in an all-black look with an upper made of matt, slightly shiny crinkle material - a clear break with the classic, multi-layered construction of the Air Max 180. The highlight: no visible Swoosh on the sides, which gives the shoe a clean, futuristic touch. A mini Swoosh on the inside and subtle branding on the toebox nevertheless ensure a subtle recognition value.
However, the absolute highlight is under the sole: the semi-transparent outsole features a graphic of the Greek god Pan - a mystical, musical creature that fits perfectly with the label's thematic roots. This motif can also be found on the special tissue paper used for the packaging.
