TLDR: The PUMA Hali 1 ‘Opal’ is Tyrese Haliburton's first signature shoe and will be released on 26 September at a price of 130 €. The model features NITRO cushioning, a modern design by Salehe Bembury and a fresh colour scheme in blue and mint. It can be worn both on and off the court. With the Hali 1 ‘Opal’, PUMA is bringing NBA star Tyrese Haliburton's first signature model to regular retail. Designed by Salehe Bembury, Creative Director of PUMA Hoops, the shoe made its debut during the 2025 NBA Finals when Haliburton himself took to the stage – before tragically injuring himself in Game 7.
The ‘Opal’ colourway features various shades of blue, such as ‘Blissful Blue’ and ‘Royal Sapphire’, combined with mint green accents on the PUMA logo and heel. The mesh construction with synthetic overlays provides breathability and support, while the moulded blue midsole and translucent outsole create a modern look.
In terms of performance, the Hali 1 scores with NITRO foam, a stabilising inner frame and a grippy herringbone traction pattern – ideal for quick changes of direction. This makes the shoe suitable for both the pitch and everyday wear.
To mark the launch, an exclusive event will take place in Indianapolis on 25 September: the Hali Mart pop-up. Only 317 pairs of the ‘Opal’ colourway will be sold there. Tyrese Haliburton and Salehe Bembury will be there in person. Those who can't make it will have the chance to purchase the shoe online and at selected retailers from 26 September.
