Detroit-based artist Tyrrell Winston continues his multi-season partnership with adidas. Following the Lightblaze POD, he now turns his attention to the Climacool 4D, blending its technology-driven form with references to sport, streetball and traditional Midwestern workwear.
An open, cream-coloured lattice forms most of the breathable upper and appears to flow almost seamlessly into the flexible sole construction. Collegiate Red highlights the Three Stripes and laces, creating a bold contrast against the understated off-white base.
A large fold-over leather tongue sits above the lacing system, recalling classic competition and football footwear. Winston’s embossed signature, finished lace tips and subtle matte gold details give the futuristic silhouette a distinctly personal touch. A grippy rubber outsole completes the construction.
