adidas presents the VeloStan Smith, which reinterprets the classic Stan Smith sneaker for urban cyclists and commuters. With its iconic design, the VeloStan Smith integrates a two-bolt SPD cleat system that is compatible with clipless pedals and joins the VeloSamba in adidas' city cycling collection. This innovative design allows cyclists to seamlessly transition from cycling to walking without having to change shoes.

The VeloStan Smith features a rigid nylon plate embedded in a synthetic sole that covers the front two-thirds to provide stiffness for cycling and flexibility for walking. The upper is made from soft, full-grain leather for durability in all seasons, with the signature green foam heel and perforated three stripes. A gold portrait of Stan Smith and his racing bike is embossed on the tongue, honouring this special edition.

The adidas VeloStan Smith will be available from 1 July 2024.
