The PUMA Velophasis x Footpatrol Takes a Step Back into the 2000s

The PUMA Velophasis is the latest addition to the German sportswear brand's extensive footwear collection and has been introduced with the help of Skepta. In response to the ever-present trend of 'dad shoes', the mesh-dominated silhouette with a massive sole unit serves as the brand's effective answer. Now, the shoe has realised its first collaborative project with London-based retailer Footpatrol.

The Footpatrol x PUMA Velophasis will be available exclusively at Footpatrol in-store & online on Saturday 2 December. Sizes range from UK4 to UK12 and are priced from £140. This upcoming collaboration pays tribute to the Y2K fashion trend, bringing together a variety of styles from chic to edgy on the nostalgia-influenced silhouette. The design fuses modern running technology with futuristic design elements from the early 2000s. The surface of the sneaker is dominated by a generous amount of translucent material, while reflective silver underlays and cool blue tones create a futuristic colour scheme. The plush, 'gel' logoed heels are reminiscent of the inflatable furniture trends of the early 2000s. Take a look at this standout pair in the official images now as we eagerly await the launch.
