The UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Hall of Fame" Has a Golden Upper

The release of the UNDEFEATED x Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Protro "Hall of Fame" is dragging on, but soon, the sneakers will finally be released. The partner UNDEFEATED has now announced a first release date. The sneakers will drop on May 12th at retailer undefeated.com. Unfortunately, a further drop at Nike or other retailers has not yet been announced.

In spring, another legend moves into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame. Kobe Bryant finds his place in basketball's most famous Hall of Fame and is remembered forever for his tenacity and dedication.

On the other hand, UNDEFEATED honours the legend with another incredible Kobe 5 Protro. Check out the official pictures of the UNDEFEATED x Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Protro "Hall of Fame" here. The release is still unclear, but the sneakers will probably drop this season.

In just a few days, the so called "Mamba Week" is supposed to start. August 23rd and 24th will be marked by two sneakers honouring the basketball legend. On August 23rd, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Big Stage Parade" is scheduled to drop, and the Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Lakers" will follow on August 24th.

But these are not the last colourways for the year. Allegedly, more Kobe sneakers will be released in 2020, and one of them could very well be the UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Hall of Fame". The longtime partners use luxurious colours and Lakers vibes as well as significant Kobe features.

But let's take a closer look at this premium sneaker. The upper shines in "Metallic Gold" and has the typical Black Mamba pattern, which we often see on Kobe sneakers. The Swooshes, on the other hand, have a slight colour gradient. Red and purple shades run into each other, while the details "24 10 8" point to the jersey numbers of Kobe. Kobe and UNDEFEATED brandings on the tongues then perfectly round off the colourway.

The year 2020 could be even better with this release. Unfortunately, no exact release date is known yet. The sneakers will supposedly be released in the next few months.
