Converse and Ambush Release a Chunkier Chuck 70 and Pro Leather

The designer Yoon Ahn from Ambush is certainly one of the best designers today. Her fans include stars like Kanye West. She even dressed Rihanna. And, in 2018, she was appointed jewellery designer for Dior Homme. Following her collab with Nike and the Air Max 180 Hi in April, the 43-year-old designer has now teamed up with Converse. The focus is on the Converse Chuck 70 and Pro Leather.

Both sneakers will be getting a sturdier and chunkier look. Yoon Ahn was inspired by the 1950s rubber military boots to create a new upgraded sneaker. The new feature of the Chuck 70 is clearly visible. The raised platform sole stands out from the classic silhouette and accentuates the rubber upper. White laces and a folded tongue are also part of the new design.

The Pro Leather has a black rubber upper, a tonal 3D Converse Star Chevron logo as well as a folded tongue and black laces. On the back, the elevated sole unit can be recognized by the yellow Ambush lettering printed on the sole.
