Air Force 1 in Patriotic Colourway

A few weeks ago, Nike cancelled the Air Max 1 "Fourth of July" that paid tribute to Betsy Ross' flag mainly due to strong opinions of famous athletes such as Colin Kaepernick. After accommodating these negative reactions, Nike soon decided to introduce to us the next Air Force 1 and dipped it in patriotic colors.

The Air Force 1 comes with a pure white leather upper and, instead of Betsy Ross' flag on the heel, it features a Nike Air logo in Sport Red. Perhaps soon to get the next controversial reaction from our athletes, a modern American flag appears in the form of a patch on the tongue. The Swoosh and sole are done in patriotic blue, and it also comes with a golden lace lock with an embossed “AF1” as well as a "United States" print on the insole that complete the overall design.

Sorry, Betsy!

We’re now making way for the new contemporary American flag. What do you think? People are simply torn about this new patriotic release. While some are happy about the new makeover, others are still lobbying for the return of the "Fourth of July". It has already been released in the United States. However, it's hard to tell if it's dropping here as well. Don't miss the next news and get our Grailify App to get the latest news on this release.
