adidas Cancels Yeezy Collection Release for November

Just a few weeks before the planned sales launch, it was announced that the release of adidas' third Yeezy collection for November has been cancelled. According to an internal memo from the company, management has decided not to sell any new shoes for the rest of the year. This applies to e-commerce as well as brick-and-mortar and wholesale. Unfortunately, this means that all sneakerheads will have to wait for the releases of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 as well as other adidas Yeezy 500 and 700 styles.

Apparently, adidas' internal communications refer to the releases simply as "Aurora 3", but insider sources have revealed that this is just a codename for the Yeezy drops. "Aurora 1" and "Aurora 2" had already been launched in May and August. Why adidas is releasing the Yeezys under a different name remains unclear. The fact is that adidas donates part of the proceeds to organisations that work against discrimination and hate - including racism and anti-Semitism.
