Air Jordan 1 Low "UNC" Reminds of the Air Jordan 1 x Nike SB "UNC"

The Air Jordan 1 Low "UNC" is probably nothing new. Hardly any other colour reminds you of MJ's past as much as the UNC colour does. Next to the "Chicago" or "Bred" colourway, the light blue is one of the best colourways Jordan Brand has ever released.

The sneakers also remind us of a model we last saw in the summer of 2019. Eric Koston's featured Air Jordan 1 x Nike SB "UNC" could just be a perfect copy of the new Air Jordan 1 Low. In August, the low-cut sneakers dropped with a white base and light blue overlays. The collab was clearly recognizable by its shape as well as the Nike SB tag on the tongue and the Wings logo on the heel.

The latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Low actually looks very similar to the Eric Koston sneaker. The Air Jordan 1 Low "UNC" has a white leather base that perfectly ties in colour to the midsole. Other white details and features include a white tongue and a white Wings logo on the heel.

The new "UNC" certainly attracts attention with its light blue overlays. The sides, mudguard, heel, laces, and Swoosh pay tribute to Michael Jordan's alma mater. Finally, a blue Jumpman on the tongue and the blue outsole complete the overall design.

UNC colourways are in fact among the most celebrated colourways. Probably some are already looking to cop this new low iteration. The release is supposed to take place within the next few weeks.
