Sailor Moon and Vans Release a Massive Collection
Sailor Moon first aired in 1992, and overall the anime series has had a lasting impact on the entire industry. Even after 30 years, brands as well as fans cite the work of Naoko Takeuchi, and Vans is also affected. More specifically, the US-based sporting goods company is releasing a multi-part Sailor Moon collection that is inspired by all the characters.
The Sailor Moon x Vans collection includes a range of shoes and clothes for men, women, and children. Included is a Sailor Moon x Vans Sk8-Hi Stacked, which is inspired by Sailor Moon's outfit. It borrows the bow and transformation brooch and combines them on a sturdy upper made of smooth leather and other textiles.
Other notable sneakers from the Sailor Moon x Vans collection are the black and white models that are reminiscent of the first comics. They show individual scenes and poses of the main character. The style can also be combined with matching apparel, which has yet to be revealed.
Don't Miss the Drop of the Sailor Moon x Vans Collection
