Converse and Isabel Marant have teamed up for a unique collaboration that combines classic Converse styles with Marant’s distinct Parisian aesthetic, known for blending elegance and casualness. This collection emphasizes spontaneity, independence, and effortless elegance, reflecting Marant’s creative freedom and unconventional approach.

At the heart of this collaboration is the Chuck 70 Wedge, a fresh twist on the classic Chuck 70 with a hidden 6.3 cm (2.5-inch) wedge heel. This design pays homage to Marant’s influence on the sneaker wedge trend of the 2010s. The collection also features new versions of the Chuck 70 in both high and low-top silhouettes, incorporating Marant’s iconic design elements like frayed Jacquard uppers, colorful pinstripes, and translucent soles.

Marant’s connection to Converse began in her youth when she inserted cork pieces into her Chuck Taylors for added height, foreshadowing her later influence on sneaker wedge design. The collection embodies a blend of nostalgic elements with a modern twist, staying true to the original Chuck Taylor vibe.

The collection will debut on September 11, exclusively at the Isabel Marant Turenne Paris pop-up store, and on September 12 at selected Converse retailers, converse.com, and Isabel Marant stores.
